ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Mian Javed Latif has demanded exemplary punishment for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for challenging the state’s writ and becoming part of an international conspiracy against Pakistan.
Talking to media, the minister accused Imran of disrupting the country’s environment in a similar manner how Mutahidda Quomi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain destroyed the peace of Karachi during the 80s and 90s.
Latif accused Imran of hatching conspiracies to damage the country’s economy. He demanded exemplary punishment for the PTI chief so nobody can dare challenge the state’s writ again.
Justice for Nawaz Sharif
Latif also demanded justice for PML-N supremo Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He called for the scales of justice to be balanced and said that the people who conspired against Sharif’s government back in 2017 should be punished.
Latif also drew attention to Zalmay Khalilzad’s recent statement about the ongoing situation in the country, which has implications for Pakistan’s stability. He called for the statement to be listened to and evaluated carefully.
