LAHORE: Former Chief Minister Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has proposed three names for the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.
Talking to reporters after meeting with PTI Chief Imran Khan, Parvez Elahi said that during the meeting, they discussed names for the caretaker chief minister. He said that Imran Khan has proposed three names for the caretaker chief minister of Punjab.
Proposed names for caretaker CM Punjab
These names include former chief secretary Nasir Saeed Khosa, Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera, and Naseer Ahmad Khan, Elahi said.
Elahi said that the proposed names were discussed in detail during the meeting. He hoped that one name will be finalized from the proposed names.
On Saturday, the Punjab Assembly was dissolved after Governor Punjab Baligh-ur-Rehman refused to sign a summary sent by the then Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for the dissolution of the assembly.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has also announced to sent a summary for the dissolution for KP assembly on Tuesday.
