Imran Khan also claimed that another operation might be carried out in Zaman Park in the evening or tomorrow. He appealed to his party workers not to get incited by anyone’s words and even if a fresh warrant is issued against him. PTI chairman asked his party workers to permit the police team to enter his home if they arrive with a new arrest warrant against him.
Imran Khan said he was ready to go to prison but did not want bloodshed in the country. “That is why I am again telling my party workers to not take part in any violence.”
The former Prime Minister also announced conducting a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan on Saturday night. He said, “I am going to announce a new plan of action at Minar-e-Pakistan,”.
Imran Khan added that the current government was aware of the fact that their time in politics would end if they went ahead with elections. The former PM also criticized the government over a ‘crackdown’ against workers of PTI, adding that such acts were unprecedented in a democratic country.
Imran Khan further said that on one hand polls had been announced, yet there was a crackdown initiated against his party workers. “Our party try to stage a rally [but] we are attacked and many cases were also registered against us.”
