A sessions court in Islamabad on Thursday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan in a case involving his threatening remarks against a female judge.
Imran Khan appeared before the court of sessions judge Kamran Basharat in person.
The court accepted Imran Khan’s bail plea for surety bonds worth Rs50,000.
During the court appearance, te former prime minister was accompanied by PTI leaders including Asad Umar and Faisal Javaid.
A case has been filed against Imran Khan at the Police Station Kohsar for using threatening remarks against additional sessions judge Zeba Chaudhry while addressing a rally held in Islamabad earlier.
