ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s appeals against the sentences in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references tomorrow (November 27).

Islamabad administration has chalked out a comprehensive security plan for the occasion. IHC Registrar Office has also issued a circular, outlining the arrangements in connection with Nawaz Sharif’s court appearance.

Chief Justice IHC, Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear the appeals. The court has sought robust security arrangements for November 27.

According to the Registrar Office, entry into Court Room No. 1 will be restricted. The individuals possessing security passes issued by the Registrar’s Office will be allowed to enter the courtroom.

Furthermore, only 15 lawyers from Nawaz Sharif’s legal team, along with five government lawyers representing the Attorney General and Advocate General, will be granted access to the courtroom.

Notably, employees of the IHC have been exempted from the requirement of entry passes, simplifying their access to the premises.
