ICT Commissioner Notifies Speed Limit for Vehicles in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: In order to improve traffic flow and prevent accidents in Islamabad, the Chief Commissioner Office Islamabad has issued a notification fixing speed limits for various vehicles in the capital city territory.

As per the notification highways including Kashmir Highway, Islamabad Highway and Murree Road has the maximum speed limit of 80km/h for LTV and 65km/h for HTV. On the other hand, street and sectoral roads and roads near schools and hospitals have the maximum speed limit of 30km/h for LTV and 25km/h for HTV vehicles.
