RIYADH: Mamadou Sow, Chief of the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for its steadfast support, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in aiding Palestinians amidst the current humanitarian crisis, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The SPA reported that Mamadou Sow delivered his remarks during the signing of the financial support memorandum in Riyadh between the KSrelief and ICRC to address humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip.
Mamadou Sow has emphasized that this memorandum marks an important step toward alleviating the severe suffering of the people in Gaza. He has also highlighted the generous donation of $10 million from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), which will significantly contribute to meeting the vital needs of Gaza’s population. He has also assured that these funds would reach those in need the most within the region.
He further lauded the Kingdom Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) commitment through KSrelief, describing it as a powerful symbol of international humanitarian solidarity.
