LONDON: An iconic jacket once worn by pop star Michael Jackson will be auctioned in London in November this year, Western media reported don Tuesday.
The pop star worn the jacket in a Pepsi commercial in 1984 and is among more than 200 items of music memorabilia being auctioned for the music fans and collectors.
The black-and-white leather jacket, was designed for Jackson for the specific commercial and is listed for between £200,000 and £400,000.
During the shooting of the commercial Jackson’s hair caught fire and he suffered burn injuries but he was wearing a different jacket at the item.
Other memorabilia to be auctioned in November include items related to David Bowie, Elvis Presley and The Beatles.

A beehive hairpiece used by Amy Winehouse in 2007 for a music video will also be sold.
A Gibson guitar that belonged to AC/DC’s Angus Young could be sold for £120,000, while a belt buckle of John Lennon is listed for £60,000.
It is pertinent to mention that due to huge fan base of Michael Jackson his memorabilia previously sold for thousands.
Last month a hat worn by Michael Jackson, before he debuted his iconic moonwalk dance, was auctioned for $82,170 in France.
