ISLAMABAD: The International Cricket Council (ICC) is set to take charge of the venues for the Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 immediately after the conclusion of the tri-nation ODI series between Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa.

Insiders reveal that the newly revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, set to kick off the tri-nation series with its first two matches on February 8 and 10, will transition to ICC oversight by February 11.

Meanwhile, Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, slated to host the remaining two encounters on February 12 and 14, will come under ICC governance on February 15.

Once the venues are under its purview, the ICC will finalize the preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025.

It’s noteworthy that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not seek an extension for the venue handover, as all logistical arrangements are neatly aligned with the initial timeline.
