ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 Qualifier’s Fixtures Released

ISLAMABAD: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier schedule has been released after the confirmation of ten teams that would feature at the mega event to be hosted in Zimbabwe from 18 June to 9 July.

Each contest would be high stakes, with teams contesting for 2 places at the World Cup 2023 in India, giving them 9 guaranteed matches at cricket’s ODI mega showpiece.

The ten teams playing in the qualifier are split into two groups of 5 teams. Zimbabwe, the Netherlands, Nepal, the West Indies, and the United States comprise Group A, while Ireland, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Oman, and the UAE form Group B.

Each team would play other sides in their group once, with the top 3 progressing to the Super 6 stage.

In the Super 6, they would play the teams they did not face in the group stage.

Qualify for World Cup

All points received in the group stage would be carried over to the Super 6 stage. The finalists would qualify for the World Cup 2023.
