DUBAI: The ICC has unveiled the timetable for the T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches, set to start from Monday, May 27 to Saturday, June 1, spanning venues across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago.

Fixture locations include the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

Pakistan and England will sit out their warm-up matches as they prep for a pivotal four-match T20I series, commencing on May 22 and concluding on May 30.

A total of 17 teams will take part in these warm-up encounters, with South Africa slated for an intra-squad match on May 29 in Florida.

These matches, featuring 20 overs per side, won’t carry international T20 status, affording teams the leeway to field their entire 15-player squads.

In a departure from the prior cycle, teams now have the option to engage in up to two warm-up matches, contingent on their arrival timing at the event.

Outstanding is the clash between the West Indies and Australia at Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago, on Thursday, May 30, which will be open to spectators.
