KARACHI: Hyderabad Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne won the toss and elected to field first against home side Karachi Kings in the 20th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at the National Bank Stadium on Saturday.

Head-to-Head

The upcoming fixture marks the first-ever meeting between the 2020 champions Karachi Kings and the Kingsmen, as the latter are making their maiden appearance in the PSL this season.

Contrasting Form Guide

The two teams enter the match with sharply contrasting momentum. The Karachi Kings have suffered just one defeat in their four matches so far in PSL 11, while the Hyderabad Kingsmen are enduring a four-match losing streak.

Karachi began their campaign in flamboyant style, defeating Quetta Gladiators, arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars, and Rawalpindi Pindiz respectively. Their only setback came in their most recent outing, a record 159-run thrashing at the hands of current table-toppers Peshawar Zalmi.

Hyderabad Kingsmen, meanwhile, have lost all four of their matches against the Qalandars, Gladiators, Sultans, and Zalmi. They currently hold seventh place only due to a marginally better net run rate than fellow debutants Rawalpindi Pindiz.
