MAR-A-LAGO (Florida), USA: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has once again praised former US President Donald Trump after a face-to-face meeting at Mar-a-Lago.

“For us Hungarians, there is only one thing to do, and that is to honestly admit: the world would be better, and it would be better for Hungary, if President Donald Trump returned to power,” Prime Minister Orbán said.

He repeated his previous statements that there was peace in the Middle East and Ukraine during Trump’s presidency.

He claimed that Trump respected the world and thereby created conditions for peace.

Prime Minister Orban also said he hoped Trump’s return to the White House would revive bilateral trade relations.

After meeting at Trump’s Florida mansion, Orbán and Trump were scheduled to attend a concert, Hungarian Prime Minister’s spokesman Havashi Bertalan said.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Petar Szijarto, was also present in the meeting.

The two leaders, in the Florida meeting, discussed a wide range of issues affecting Hungary and the United States, including the critical importance of strong and secure borders to protect each country’s sovereignty.

Mr. Orban is known to have attended several pro-Trump events and openly supported his re-election as president. Among other things, he said that if Trump had been president, the war would not have started and that Trump’s return would bring “peace”. President Trump responded by praising Orban.
