ISLAMABAD: A massive fire broke out Thursday morning at a clothes godown near Sheikhupura Bhatti Wala Road.
According to rescue sources, the flames swiftly consumed the entire building of the godown, spreading quickly through the cloth storage facility.
After being informed, fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene and initiated an operation, as reported by a private news channel.
Fire tenders have also arrived at the site to combat the intense blaze.
Due to narrow and deteriorated roads, the rescue teams are finding it difficult to contain the fire.
No casualties were reported in the incident; however, valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes due to the fire. —APP
