LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said that some people were showing fake ‘form 45’, taken from the social media, and making unnecessary hue and cry over the matter.
Addressing a press conference along with another party leader Attaullah Tarar at the PML-N Secretariat in Lahore, she said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N mandate was stolen in 2018 elections by halting the Results Transmission System (RTS).
She regretted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was spreading fake form 45 on the social media but not presenting those in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Former information minister went on to say that the PTI had been completely exposed after the results of general election 2024. She added that the party was unable to present original form 45, and only sharing screen shots from private television channels.
She added Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman is a respectable for all politicians, but there are no chances of the JUI-F (Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl) alliance with the PTI. She revealed the PML-N was also preparing a white paper on elections and it would soon bring it in the public.
PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar in his remarks alleged that the PTI was trying to derail democracy by making the general election controversial.
He questioned how, the form 45 of the PTI reached the media and social media but could not reach the Election Commission of Pakistan.
He said nobody would be allowed to damage the democracy by using negative tactics.
