Huawei Cloud Launches Services in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: Huawei Cloud announced on Monday launch of the Huawei Cloud Riyadh Region, going live immediately.

Unveiled at the Huawei Cloud Summit Saudi Arabia 2023, the new Riyadh region will assist promote digital-led economic development in the country, said a press release.

The launch of the Huawei Cloud Riyadh Region announced that Saudi Arabia Region will be the focus of Huawei Cloud in serving the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, providing reliable, secure, innovative, and sustainable cloud services.

The achievement highlights Huawei CLOUD’s strong dedication to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aligned with the country’s ambitious technological advancement, innovation, and leadership goals.

Eng. Haitham bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ohali, Vice Minister at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia, said that Huawei is a proud partner in the Kingdom’s technological progress having worked with the Ministry, enterprises, service providers, and universities in different collective efforts towards digital transformation.

He said that the government was looking forward to the transformative impact the HUAWEI CLOUD Riyadh Region will have on its digital ecosystem, bringing new avenues for innovation and growth.

The Riyadh Region provides multiple benefits to customers. First, this region translates the global expertise on digital transformation into excellence in industries, making innovation faster and easier.

Huawei Cloud Saudi Region is Located in Riyadh

Huawei Cloud Saudi Region is located in Riyadh and through a 3AZ (availability zone) architecture, it would provide highly secure and available cloud services, ensuring the stable operations of different services.

Moreover, the Region can provide full stack cloud services, including databases, containers, infrastructure, big data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) services to meet the requirements of different industries.

Based on the 3-AZ high-reliability architecture, it provides a low latency, covering all existing carriers’ networks powered by Mobily, STC, and Zain.
