ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot weather in most areas of country during the next twelve hours. It also predicted very hot weather with dust raising winds and gusty winds in southern parts. However, windstorms and gusty winds with isolated rain-thunderstorms are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, the Pothohar region, and Islamabad.

For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Pulwama, Anantnag, and Shopian. Srinagar, Leh, and Baramulla can expect partly cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms. Jammu will experience very hot and dry conditions during the day, with chances of windstorms, thunderstorms, and rain in the evening and night.
