ISLAMABAD: Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Pakistan during the next twelve hours, the country’s Met Office forecasts on Friday.
However, rain with wind and thundershower is likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Punjab and Kashmir, according to Met Office.
The Met Office said that rain with strong winds and thunderstorms has been recorded in Punjab, northeast Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan during the last 24 hours. The weather in other parts of the country remained hot and humid during the period.
The Met Office said that in Multan 117 mm rain was recorded while Lahore had received 43 mm rain during the last 24 hours.

Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan Met Office said that reservoirs water level continues to increase due to monsoon rains across the country.
