Hot and Humid Weather Across Country With Isolated Showers

ISLAMABAD: The next twelve hours in most parts of the country will experience hot and humid weather.

However, in some regions are expected to receive scattered rain and thundershowers.

Kashmir, Islamabad, Potohar region, north/northeast Punjab, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to receive isolated showers.

The temperature recorded early morning in some major cities were as follows:

  • Islamabad: 26°C
  • Lahore: 28°C
  • Karachi: 29°C
  • Peshawar: 29°C
  • Quetta: 24°C
  • Gilgit: 21°C
  • Muzaffarabad: 24°C
  • Murree: 17°C

In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, the Met Office forecasts partly cloudy weather with a few chances of rain, wind, and thundershower during evening and night time. The areas expected to experience this weather include Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula.

Temperature recorded this morning in these regions were as follows:

  • Srinagar and Anantnag: 19°C
  • Pulwama, Baramula, and Shopian: 18°C
  • Jammu: 25°C
  • Leh: 13°C
