SITAPUR (Uttar Pradesh), India: An old Muslim couple was beaten to death with iron rods and wooden sticks by their neighbours in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident happened to owe the alleged involvement of the deceased son with the neighbouor’s daughter.
Police have arrested three as after killing the old couple named Abbas and Qamrun Nisa the killers fled from the scene.
Chakresh Mishra, Sitapur Superintendent of Police said a few years ago Abbas’s son had an affair with a neighbour’s daughter Ruby who ran away with the boy.
The official stated that Ruby was minor at that time and the boy was sent to jail on his release Ruby and the boy married.
The two’s involvement irked the girl’s family Shaukat Rampaul (father) and resulted in the demise of the old couple who were beaten to death.
