Hezbollah Strikes Injure Eight Israeli Soldiers

BEIRUT: A missile strike by Hezbollah that targeted settlements and sites of Israeli soldiers in northern occupied Palestine, injured at least eight Israeli security personnel, Arab media reported on Sunday.

According to an Israeli army radio 11 people were injured, eight soldiers and three settlers, as a result of a missile fired at the Beit Hillel settlement in northern occupied Palestine.

The attack was a guided missile and hit a military vehicle of the Israeli occupation army in the east of the Kiryat Shmona settlement near the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

Hezbollah has also announced that it had hit a military vehicle at the Beit Hilal base with guided missiles, killing and injuring its crew. It also claimed to target six occupation army positions with accuracy.

After the eruption of the Israel- Hamas war on October 7, Hezbollah also mounted near-daily rocket strikes on Israeli military positions at the border while Israel waged artillery and air strikes in south Lebanon.

An official of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon said that there had been bombardment close to its headquarters near town of Naqoura, and in Aita al-Shaab in south part of Lebanon, in the late afternoon.
