BEIRUT: Lebanese group Hezbollah has said that it had targeted the Israeli military intelligence base of Glilot near Tel Aviv. According to the group, it has launched salvoes of Fadi 4 rockets at the Glilot base of the military intelligence’s unit 8200 and the Mossad headquarters located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
AFP reported that air raid sirens sounded in central Israel and its reporter also heard blasts in the city of Tel Aviv, with the army saying projectiles had been fired from Lebanon. Police stated one projectile hit a road near the central town of Kfar Kassen, injuring a man who was struck by shrapnel and treated by emergency services.
Israel has said that intense fighting erupted with Hezbollah in south Lebanon following its troops launched attacks in the area.
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli soldiers entered southern Lebanon following its army announced a “limited” ground operation against Hezbollah. Israel launched air attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut, bombing many areas following ordering locals to evacuate. Health Ministry Health said on Monday that strikes on Lebanon have killed around 95 people.

On the other hand, Lebanon’s Prime Minister has said that his country confronts “one of the most dangerous phases of its history”, asking the United Nations (UN) to provide help for one million people displaced by Israeli attacks.
The Prime Minister said that more than a million of people have been displaced due to the devastating war that Israel is waging on Lebanon. Lebanon’s PM said that they urgently called for more help to reinforce their ongoing efforts to provide basic support to displaced people.
