BEIRUT, Lebanon: Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that its fighters engaged in clashes with Israeli soldiers who allegedly attempted to infiltrate Lebanese territory near the village of Adaysseh. Hezbollah claimed they confronted and repelled the Israeli infantry force, preventing the infiltration.
In a separate statement, Hezbollah revealed that they had also targeted Israeli military positions at three different points across the Lebanon-Israel border, utilizing rockets and artillery.
These developments mark an escalation in the ongoing tensions along the border, with both sides exchanging attacks.
The clashes are part of a broader conflict involving Hezbollah, which has been increasingly involved in military confrontations with Israel amid heightened tensions in the region.
This incident underscores the fragile and volatile situation along the Lebanon-Israel border, further raising concerns of a wider conflict.
