Hezbollah Chief’s Son-in-law Killed in Israeli Strike in Damascus: Report

BEIRUT: The son-in-law of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed last week in a massive Israeli attack in Beirut, was also killed in an Israeli attack in Damascus Wednesday, an NGO claimed.

AFP cited the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as saying that the son-in-law of Hezbollah leader killed in Syria. The NGO told AFP that Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir was among two Lebanese victims of the Israeli strike which targeted a residential compound in Damascus.

Earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an Israeli air strike on Wednesday attacked a residential compound in the Mazzeh neighborhood of Damascus and killed three people.  According to media reports, the strikes have intensified in recent days, including in areas near the border with Lebanon.
