ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has announced providing 200 scholarships for students from Gwadar. The announcement was welcomed by the governor of Balochistan. Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar stated that it was a step in the right direction to promote education in the province. He said that Gwadar is the future of Pakistan and that the region’s youth should not be ignored.
This announcement is a positive sign for the students belonging to Gwadar, who were struggling for educational opportunities due to limited resources and financial constraints in the area. The governor said that the government is working towards providing scholarships for poor and qualified students of Balochistan.
He further said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also takes a keen interest in promoting education in the province in the province.
