ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has invited applications for the Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP) program in all disciplines under the Phase-Il of the program.
According to official sources, the commission has launched the IPFP program to provide fresh PhDs with the opportunity to obtain academic experience and mentorship.
The selected candidates will be placed for one year in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and federal/provincial government postgraduate colleges prior to their formal entry into the academic job market.
Selection Process for PhDs
Eligible applicants will have to appear in the mandatory pre-assessment test, according to the HEC. Those who obtain a minimum score of 50 percent on the pre-assessment test will attend the mandatory training under NFDP followed by an evaluation test before placement at Higher Education Institutes (HEIs).
The deadline for submitting the application for the program is January 16, 2023.
