Islamabad: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced Master of Law (LLM) and Ph.D. scholarships for students from Balochistan under the Law Graduates Program of Scholarships.
As per details, the program is an opportunity for students of Balochistan to pursue their law education overseas, as Higher Education Commission (HEC) offers three types of degrees, including Ph.D., foreign LLM, and indigenous LLM.
Eligibility Criteria: –
Applicants for LLM and Ph.D. scholarships must have the following:
• Have domicile or local certificate of Balochistan.
• Minimum age on the closing date of submission for LLM is 30 years, while for Ph.D. is 35 years.
• Candidate must have completed LLB before applying for LLM and LLM before applying for Ph.D. from any Higher Education Commission (HEC)-a recognized university. At least 50 percent marks are compulsory for a bachelor’s degree.
• Candidate must secure a minimum of 50 percent marks in aptitude test.
• Candidate must not be availing of any other scholarship.
How to Apply: –
• Candidates have to apply via Higher Education Commission’s e-portal.
• Candidates are not required to send hard copies at this stage.
• Candidates must deposit a non-refundable Rs. 1,000 fee in Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Account Number: 17427900133401, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Branch Code: 1742.
• It is compulsory to upload the fee slip on the online portal and to bring its hard copy to the test center.
• Candidates must ‘submit’ the online application after completing it because ‘saved’ and ‘incomplete’ applications will be rejected.
