ISLAMABAD: Higher Education Commission (HEC) has categorically rejected news circulating on social media regarding an extension for admission in BA/BSc and MA/MSc degree programmes and has advised the students and their parents not to pay attention to such news.
Officials from HEC on Sunday further clarified the issue and mentioned that students should not take admission in any programme of 2-year tenure both for BA/BSc and MA/MSc and has advised them and their parents to keep themselves aware of such fake news circulating on social media.
HEC Directions for students
The news alerts issued from HEC further stated that the last date for enrollment in BA/BSC AND MA/MSc were December 31, 2019 and June 30, 2022 respectively and no further directions have been issued for the extension of two-year plan.
The HEC message further maintained that all relevant students and their teacher should keep visiting the HEC official website (www.hec.gov.pk) to for updated information about any future correspondence.
