During an interview with APP, he said that those who plan to keep fast should not skip ‘Sehri’ in a bid to reduce weight. Sehri is very important for maintaining good health.

He also advised people to avoid eating abundantly in Iftar.

Many people harm health in Ramazan

Shah said that, in fact, many people harm their health in Ramazan than during other times of the year. Eating foods high in sugar and fat at the wrong times affects the body.

He further said that in order to keep their metabolism balanced, fasters should also exercise after Iftar.

He recommended foods for Sehri, like eggs and cheese, which are protein-rich and take a long time to digest.

The doctor said that people should avoid foods like molasses, honey, and jam, which can make them thirstier throughout the day.
