BEIRUT: Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah on Wednesday warned Israel against imposing war on Lebanon, a day after an Israeli strike killed Hamas’s leader in Beirut suburbs.
Nasrallah in a televised speech said that if the enemy thinks of waging a war on Lebanon, Hezbollah will fight without restraint, without limits without rules, and without restrictions.
He said that the group is not afraid of war, adding that for now, they are fighting on the frontline following meticulous calculations.
An Israeli strike killed Saleh Al-Aruri, deputy head of the Hamas movement, in a southern Beirut a stronghold of Hamas ally Hezbollah.
Hamas, has confirmed Aruri’s death which according to Lebanese state media came in an Israeli drone strike that killed a total of six people.

Hezbollah has been engaged in almost daily cross-border clashes with Israel since war in Gaza started in October.
The Gaza health ministry reported on Wednesday that more than 22,313 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed and over 57,296 injured in the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since October 7.
Nasrallah termed attack as a major crime
Nasrallah termed the attack as a major and dangerous crime which will not go unanswered and unpunished.
The group on Wednesday announced several strikes on Israeli troops and positions. Hassan Nasrallah said Israel has been weakened adding that Israel is now on the path to extinction.
Nasrallah was making a speech commemorating Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp. (IRGC) General Qasem Soleimani four years after his assassination in a US strike in Iraq.
Since hostilities started, 170 people have been killed on the Lebanese side.
