KARACHI: Pakistan’s fast bowler Hassan Ali vowed on Sunday that he would continue to play cricket and turned down the demand for retirement. He made the comments after the cricketer received a demand for his retirement from a social media user. On social media, a user named “Wazir” shared a video of Arshad Iqbal’s bowling, commenting, “Watch his bowling, extra bounce.”
Similarly, while tagging cricketer Hassan Ali, the social media user also added a humorous remark, saying, “Hassan, just retire now.”
Responding to the demand for his retirement, Hassan Ali wrote, “There’s no doubt that Arshad is a great bowler, but why should I retire?”.
