ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s young squash sensation, Muhammad Hamza Khan, is set to spearhead the national team at the upcoming WSF World Junior Individual & Team Squash Championship in Houston, USA, scheduled from July 12 to 23.
The Pakistan Junior Squash Team, including talented players Muhammad Ammad, Huzaifa Ibrahim, and Abdullah Nawaz, will depart from Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday to compete in this prestigious event.
Fahim Gul Khan will be accompanying the team as their coach, ensuring that the players are in peak condition for both the Individual Event from July 12 to 16 and the Team Championship from July 17 to 23. Adnan Asad, Vice President of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), will manage the team, overseeing logistics and support during their campaign.
In preparation for the championship, the Pakistan Squash Federation organized rigorous training sessions at the Mushaf Squash Complex, aiming to hone the skills and fitness of the selected players. The team is optimistic and motivated to deliver their best performances on the international stage, showcasing their talent and determination against top junior players from around the globe.
This tournament not only provides a platform for young Pakistani squash players to gain valuable international exposure but also serves as a crucial opportunity to demonstrate their potential and competitive spirit.
