GAZA, Palestine: Hamas has issued a strong condemnation following an Israeli airstrike on a residential area in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement carried in Anadolu news, the Palestinian group described the attack as a “brutal crime” perpetrated by what they term the “terrorist occupation army.”

They characterized this assault as one of the most severe forms of genocide and forced displacement witnessed in modern history, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The airstrike, which occurred late on Saturday, reportedly resulted in several Palestinian casualties, with local sources indicating that multiple homes were struck near the town’s western roundabout.

This area, populated by many displaced residents, suffered extensive damage. Hamas accused the international community, particularly Washington and its allied capitals, of complicity in these ongoing atrocities, urging a collective action to halt the violence against Palestinians.
