ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Saudi Arabian Hajj and Umrah minister stated that the number of pilgrims participating in this year’s Hajj will be similar to pre-pandemic levels.
Tawfiq Al Rabiah, while speaking at the ongoing Hajj Expo 2023, said this year there will be no restrictions of the age of the pilgrim.
No age restriction for pilgrims at Hajj 2023
Prior to the Covid-pandemic, in 2019, around 2.5 million people made the pilgrimage.

During the pandemic, in order to stem Covid-19’s spread the numbers were reduced significantly.
