KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on Wednesday to lay a wreath and offer Fateha. Accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and senior cabinet members, Tessori expressed his commitment to the ideals for which Pakistan was founded.
Speaking to the media, Governor Tessori emphasized the unity and high spirits of the nation, highlighting that Independence Day celebrations would be held at the Governor House with national heroes like Olympian Arshad Nadeem and singer Atif Aslam.
He saluted the armed forces and law enforcement personnel for their sacrifices in safeguarding the country. The governor invited the people of Karachi to join the Independence Day celebrations, where the National Anthem would be sung and the Pakistani flag unfurled.
