PESHAWAR: Haji Ghulam Ali, the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), administered the oath of office to the interim provincial cabinet during a ceremony at the Governor House on Saturday.
There are nine ministers in the province government, including Syed Masood Shah, Feroz Jamal Shah, Syed Amir Abdullah, Justice Retired Irshad Qaiser, Asif Rafiq, Dr. Najeebullah, Ahmad Rasool Bangash, Dr. Muhammad Qasim Jan, and Justice Retired Rashid Hussain Shah who took the oath of office for the caretaker ministers.
At the Jirga Hall of the Governor House, caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Azam Khan was also present. Other Police personnel joined IG KP in the ceremony. The Chief Minister and several cabinet members were warmly welcomed by KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali earlier after they arrived at the Governor’s House. —APP
