BEIJING: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said on Thursday that the government was taking steps to uplift the agriculture sector, processing, and exports.
In a meeting with a delegation of China Oil and Food Stuffs headed by President Luan Richeng, the prime minister appreciated the performance of Pakistan’s agriculture sector.

Government’s policy for agriculture
He said that intending to further promote the field, the government has also included the agriculture sector in the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
Kakar said Pakistan was striving to increase the agriculture yield and processing and enhance the country’s agricultural exports.
The prime minister welcomed the delegation’s keen interest in investing in Pakistan.
