Gold Rates Up by Rs 450 Per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said that the price per tola of 24-karat gold went up by Rs450 on Friday and was sold at Rs228,600 in comparison to its sale at Rs228,150 on the previous trading day.

Likewise, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs 386 to Rs195,988 from Rs 195,602, whereas the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased to Rs179,655 from Rs 179,301. However, the price of ten-gram, and per tola silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,229.08 and Rs 2,600 respectively.

The Association stated that the price of gold in the international market also increased by $6 and was sold at $2,180 as compared to yesterday’s $2,174. —APP
