Gold Rates Surge by Rs 6,200, Reaches Rs 221,000 Per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat gold per tola witnessed a substantial increase of Rs 6,200 on Tuesday, reaching Rs 221,000 compared to its previous sale at Rs 214,800 in Pakistan.

Simultaneously, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 5,316 to Rs 189,472 from Rs 184,156. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an upswing, reaching Rs 173,683 from Rs 168,810, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

In contrast, the prices of per tola and 10-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,650 and Rs 2,271.94, respectively.

Gold Rates in International Market

The surge in gold rates in the international market was also observed, with a $10 increase to $1,967 from $1,957, as reported by the Association.

The fluctuation in gold prices is influenced by various factors such as global market trends, demand and supply dynamics, and economic conditions. Investors and consumers closely monitor gold rates as it plays a significant role in the jewelry and investment sectors.
