ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, the cost of 24-carat gold per tola witnessed a rise of Rs.1,600, reaching Rs.221,300, as opposed to the previous trading day’s value of Rs.219,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs.1,372, settling at Rs.189,729 compared to its previous rate of Rs.188,357.
In the case of 22-carat gold, the price for 10 grams rose to Rs.173,918 from Rs.172,661, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The rates for silver remained constant at Rs.2,680 per tola and Rs.2,297.66 for ten grams.
As reported by the Association, internationally, the price of gold experienced a modest uptick of $12, reaching $2,094 as opposed to the previous rate of $2,082. —APP
