KARACHI: Gold prices soared in Pakistan over the weekend, marking a significant surge in value, local media reported. On Saturday, the cost of 24-karat gold increased to Rs245,100 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 4,900.
According to the media reports, dealers noted a corresponding rise in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which surged by Rs 4,200 to reach Rs210,134. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed to Rs192,622.
Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver held steady at Rs2,650. Internationally, gold prices also experienced an uptick, with a $44 increase, bringing the price per ounce to $2,350. d
