ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 750 on Wednesday compared to the last trading day, when it was sold for Rs. 209,200.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 643, to Rs. 178,712 from Rs. 179,355, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold was reduced to Rs. 163,820 from Rs. 164,409.

Silver was still priced at Rs. 2,550 per tola and Rs. 2,186.21 per ten-gram piece. According to the Association, the price of gold dropped from $1,995 to $1,990 on the global market. —APP
