Gold Rates Decline by Rs.3,000 to Rs.215,600 per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The gold market in Pakistan witnessed a significant downturn as the per tola price of 24 karat gold plummeted by Rs.3,000, reaching Rs.215,600 on Saturday. This marks a notable decrease from its previous sale price of Rs.218,600 on the last trading day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a decline, dropping by Rs.2,572 to Rs.184,842 from its previous rate of Rs.187,414. Meanwhile, the prices of 10 grams of 22 karat gold experienced a dip to Rs.169,439 from Rs.171,786, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained unchanged, with the per tola and ten-gram rates holding steady at Rs.2,600 and Rs.2,229.08, respectively.

Gold Price in International Market

Internationally, the price of gold experienced a decrease of $26, bringing it down to $2,024 from its previous value of $2,050, according to the Association’s report.

The fluctuations in gold prices are closely monitored by investors and consumers alike, and this recent decline may impact both local and global markets. Analysts attribute these changes to various factors, including shifts in global economic conditions, currency values, and geopolitical developments.
