ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24-carat gold on Tuesday increased by Rs. 500, reaching Rs.215,200, compared to its previous sale at Rs.214,700 on the last trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose by Rs.429, now selling at Rs.184,500, as opposed to the previous Rs.184,071.
However, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for 10 grams of 22-carat gold decreased to Rs.169,124 from Rs.168,731. The prices of per tola and ten grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs.2,600 and Rs.22,229.08, respectively.
The association reported that in the international market, the price of gold experienced a $5 increase, rising to $2,047 from $2,042.
