Gold Prices at the international market

Meanwhile, the gold price in the international market decreased by US$3 to US$ 1,924 against its sale at US$1,927 on the last trading day, as reported by the association.

Usually, when the price at the international market goes up, it has the same impact on the local markets in Pakistan. However, despite the decrease in the international market, the prices went up in Pakistan, mainly because of the depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the dollar and the uncertain economic situation in the country.
