ISLAMABAD: After slight fluctuation for a couple of days, the US dollar gains some ground, resulting in a sharp increase in gold prices in the domestic market. On Wednesday, the gold prices increased by Rs2,700, taking the 24 karats of gold per tola to Rs 197,100.
According to All Sindh Sarafa and Jewelers Association, the per-tola price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan was available at Rs197,100 on Wednesday, while that of 10 grams of 24-karat gold witnessed an increase of Rs2,315 and was available at Rs168,981 in the domestic market.
Gold Prices in International Market
However, the price of silver remained stable at Rs2,080 per tola and Rs1,783 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market witnessed a slight decrease of $2 per ounce and were traded at $1810.
