Gold Prices Continue to Increase, Settle at Rs158,850 per Tola

ISLAMABAD: The gold prices in Pakistan continued its upward trend on Wednesday to reach at Rs158,850 per tola.

The increasing value of the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee is hurting the market sentiments and caused the precious metal’s price to went up by Rs1,850 per tola.

After the huge rise, the yellow metal is getting closer to its record high mark of Rs162,000 per tola, registered in July.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams 24-Karat gold increased by Rs1,586 to settled at Rs136,188.

The price of another precious metal, silver also went up after remaining stable for days. It traded at Rs1,690 per tola, with an increase of Rs10.
