Gold Price Witnesses Significant Increase of Rs2000 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: After a slight decline of Rs50, the price of the per tola 24 karats of gold witnessed a significant increase of Rs2000 on Saturday, to settle at Rs213,300, against its last day price of Rs211,300.

Meanwhile, the price for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went up by Rs1714 and was available in the market at Rs182,870 as compared to Rs181,156 last day.

Last Thursday, the price of the yellow plate in the local market also witnessed a major increase of Rs2900 per tola.

Gold Price in International Market

Meanwhile, rates for the yellow metal in the international market also witnessed an increase of $19 to settle at $2,006 per ounce against its last-day price of $1,987 per ounce.

The increase in price in the local market is attributed to the increase in rates in the international market as well as to the recent Israel-Palestine conflict.
