Gold Price Up Further by Rs 150 to Settle at Rs 214,450 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: After an increase of over Rs3000 during the last three days, the price of per tola 24 karats of gold witnessed a further increase by Rs 150 to reach Rs 214,450 on Tuesday against the last day price of Rs 214,300 per tola.

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went up by Rs 128 to settle at Rs 183,856 against the last day rates of Rs 183,728 while the price for the 10 grams of 22 karats of the yellow plate increased to Rs 168,535 the last day price of Rs 168,417.

Like the yellow plate, the price per tola white plate (silver) also went up by Rs 20 to settle at Rs 2,570, whereas that of the ten grams of silver increased by Rs 17.15 to close to Rs 2,203.36.

Gold Price in International Market

Unlike the local bullion market, the price of gold in the international market remained constant at $2,042 per ounce. However, recently, observing a significant decline of over $35 in the first and 2nd week of February, the price of gold in the international market went up by over $20 per ounce during the last few days. The price of gold in the local market is mostly affected by the price in the international market.
