Gold Price up by Rs1,100 to Settle at Rs222,200 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: Gold Price in Pakistan facing the sea-saw scenario where the price go down one day and then up the other day. After going down for Rs600 last day, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold went up by Rs 1,100 and was available in the market at Rs 222,200 on Wednesday compared to Rs 221,100 on the previous day.

Meanwhile, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also went up by Rs 943 to settle at Rs 190,501 from its last day sale of Rs 189,558 whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 Karats of gold witnessed increase to Rs 174,626 from its previous day sale of Rs 173,761.

However, like the previous day, the price of per tola and ten-gram white plate (silver) observed no change and remained constant at Rs 2750 and Rs 2357.68 respectively.

Gold price in international market

Unlike the local market, the price of gold in the international market went down by $1 to $1,926 per ounce to settle at from $1,927. It’s not a good omen for local bullion market when the price goes up despite a decrease in the international market.
